A climatogram is a graph that summarizes the lows, highs, and average tempatures of a region. it also shows precipitation by month. the values on a climatogram are from data collected over a period of thirty years or more, so they reflect the climate, the average weather over a long time, not just the current weather.
Abiotic Factors- Since boreal forests are found in the northern regions, they may receive up to 20 hours of sunlight per day in the summer, while during the winter daylight is limited to just a few short hours. The conditions of long days and mild temperatures during the summer allow a rapid burst of plant growth, but the summer growing season lasts for only about 3 months.
This is a continental climate with long, very cold winters, and short, cool summers. This climate is found in the polar air mass region. The temperature range is larger than any other climate.
Average Temperature : low -14 °F, high 60 °F.
Biotic Factors - The Taiga Biome is populated with animals that all have techniques of keeping warm and dry or away from the harsh coldness of the Taiga. The animals that live here have adapted to the climate.
Gray Wolf-survives in relatively cold weather, has padded paws for traction in the snow, very good senses, they live in a rock captivity or in a hole.
The plant, White Poplar-grow really fast but don’t live very long.
